The internet has become a vast resource for medical education and health care information. As more health care organizations and educational resources have become available through the World Wide Web, it has become necessary to provide a method to evaluate the quality of those resources and the information they provide. We feel it is important to provide a university-based web evaluation program for the internet medical community. Our attempt at providing this service is the Medical Web Review.

The Medical Web Review is a medical education and health care web review program based at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Organized by medical students at Stanford University, the Medical Web Review brings together medical students, physicians, educators and health care professionals from America's leading medical centers to identify outstanding medical content on the internet.
