The Johnson Center, located at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, welcomes you! We look forward to helping you prepare for the birth of your baby. We offer many childbirth alternatives, including labor room deliveries and family birth options.
Our Maternity Unit includes private, semi-private and mother-baby room arrangements. We also offer a complete schedule of classes for new and expectant parents on all aspects of birth preparation and parenting. As your delivery date approaches, you will probably have questions and want more information about your choices. If you have questions, don't hesitate to call (650) 723-4600.
The Johnson Center's Perinatal Education program is designed to help new and experienced parents prepare for childbirth. There are a variety of classes offered, and if you need help deciding which classes are right for you, we can help. Because the birth experience affects the entire family, many of the classes address issues that are important to grandparents, working mothers, fathers and siblings.
