Stanford Hospital & Clinics names 
Marsh as president and CEO

Martha H. Marsh, a veteran leader in the health-care field, has been named president and chief executive officer of Stanford Hospital & Clinics, officials announced Jan. 29. Her appointment will become effective in April. Marsh most recently served as the director of hospital and clinics and the chief operating officer at UC-Davis Health System in Sacramento. 

"Martha Marsh is a very experienced and dedicated individual who can ensure that Stanford Hospital & Clinics continues to lead the way in quality patient care while supporting medical education and biomedical research," said Denise O'Leary, chair of the hospital's board of directors.
