Reminders such as these are appearing around the hospital this winter to remind everyone that the flu season is here. Sasha Madison, manager of Infection Control and Epidemiology at SHC, says that influenza vaccine was and continues to be available to all staff and appropriate patients who request it and that community supplies are more readily available than last year. Nevertheless, Madison and her colleagues say reminders such as this poster can help keep patients and everyone at SHC ”better protected from respiratory illnesses.”
