Death Certificates must be reviewed, signed promptly


"Dying with Dignity," a one-day seminar intended for professionals who provide care and support to individuals, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3.

The course, also open to families of the dying, is sponsored by SHC's Center for Education and will be held at 1010 Corporation Way, Palo Alto. The cost is $110.

The course is taught by Douglas C. Smith, MA, MS, M.Div., a professional speaker, trainer, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience as a counselor, therapist, patient-care advocate and healthcare administrator.
