SHC launches on-line physician portal

Stanford Hospital & Clinics recently launched a physician portal, offering a variety of on-line patient and other information and services for both SHC physicians and their referring colleagues.

Features of the "one stop" portal include:

Online results reporting
- Access for physicians to patients' results and reporting will now be available via any Internet computer after appropriate log-in.

Remote IDX Schedule View
- Access to daily and weekly schedules from home or on the road via the Internet.

Secured Messaging
- The portal can be used as a communication tool between individual SHC physicians and referring physicians. It facilitates secure e-mail messaging within the portal.
