HONORS & AWARDS:
SARAH S. DONALDSON, Catherine and Howard Avery Professor and associate chair and residency program director for the Department of Radiation Oncology, has received a Gold Medal from the American College of Radiology for distinguished and extraordinary service.
RAYMOND A. SOBEL, professor of pathology, has been appointed editor-in-chief of the Journal of Neuropathology and Experimental Neurology, the official journal of the American Association of Neuropathologists.
WILLIAM J. MALONEY, Elsbach-Richards Professor in Surgery has been elected to serve as president of the HIP Society starting in 2009. The organization represents orthopedic surgeons and engineers interested in diseases and treatment of the hip.
