Massive transfusion protocol guidelines

SHC is currently piloting a program intended to facilitate efficient and effective procurement and delivery of blood products for trauma and other patients who meet criteria for massive transfusion. The guidelines also alert the OR and labs to provide extraordinary support for an emergency and standardize laboratory monitoring to aid clinicians in crisis situations. Details of the guidelines are available to SunNet users and Lane Library card holders at: http://lane.stanford.edu/index.html

Then, click on "SKOLAR" on top tool bar

(Log in using appropriate ID if prompted)

Under the "Choose Resources" link, select "Special Content"

Choose "SHC/LPCH Guidelines"

Select link 11 - "Massive Transfusion Guidelines".
