New
medical staff Web site provides useful information
The Office of Medical Staff Services has revamped and expanded its Web site to give medical staff members increased access to useful information. The new site is at http://www.stanfordhospital.com/forPhysiciansOthers/ physicians/MedicalStaffServices/index.html.
While the Web site's content was previously limited to the Medical Staff Bylaws and brief credentialing information, the site now includes information on medical staff committees, leadership, medical staff and credentialing policies, and more detailed information on the application process for prospective medical staff members. In the coming months, additional information will be added, including downloadable application forms and supporting documents.
The Office of Medical Staff Services is seeking input on its new Web site; comments and suggestions can be sent to Sandi Edgar, director of Medical Staff Services, at sandi.edgar@medcenter.stanford.edu.
