Dedicated, secure physician parking available in new garage

Community physicians may use their medical staff ID badges to access secure, free parking in the Pasteur Drive underground parking lot at the medical center, but physicians are reminded that parking in unauthorized locations can result in city parking citations.

Community physicians can use their medical staff ID badges to access the gated areas on Levels 3 & 4 of the new underground parking lot under Pasteur Drive (Parking Structure 4). Levels 1 and 2 and part of Level 3 are reserved for Stanford and hospital staff members with Stanford employee "A" parking passes.

Parking tickets outside gated areas are issued by patrol units from the Palo Alto Police Department and cannot be reversed by the hospital, said Jan A. Walker, parking access manager. He noted that several tickets have already been issued for parking outside the protected gated area.

For further information, contact Walker at (650) 725-5924.
