Gorilla House Call

Clarification

H O U S E xC A L L
At age 28, Koko is quite a bit older than pediatrician Tina McAdoo's other patients, but for the 280-pound gorilla, McAdoo makes an exception and even makes housecalls to Koko's home at The Gorilla Foundation in Woodside. Her pediatric skills are relevant, because gorillas are physiologically very similar to humans. McAdoo, who practices at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, is a Stanford-trained physician and clinical faculty member.
