invited by Medicare official to play a role in defining program coverage The physician responsible in Northern California for managing Medicare Part B coverage inclusions told Stanford physicians in May that they could play a direct role in determining what services should be covered. "What is medically necessary or reasonable [for Medicare to cover]? The way we figure that out is with advice from leading experts in medicine, including yourselves," said Gerald N.
