Eric L. Weiss, associate chief of emergency medicine, has organized a course designed to teach medical students how to keep themselves and others healthy while traveling - even if it is someplace a bit less exotic than Papua, New Guinea, where Weiss met these Huli wigmen. Medicine 225 - Travel Medicine and International Health - is "a blending of traditional fields of medicine with many of the psychosocial issues germane to travel, says Weiss.
